The
TYBMM students on this day showed the audience and hopefully the whole India
through its ‘Contemporary Issues’ presentation that there’s much more in the
world and particularly in India other than dancing and partying, there are
people beyond the fun that we have in our daily lives that are handicapped or
orphan or working on the streets at the delicate age of 4-5 yrs.
There are farmers who themselves don’t have food to eat but provide us with the grains, vegetables, fruits and other necessities that we very bluntly refuse to eat when presented by our mothers for eating. The air that we breathe that consists of oxygen is declining day by day, which is provided us by the trees but which we human beings cut very recklessly to build air conditioned malls. These presentations made everyone realize that when we won’t have trees and so the oxygen to breathe, would the air conditioned malls suffice our need of breathing? No, the very cool place to hang around wouldn’t perhaps seem cool then.
Would we make fun of homosexuals when we ourselves come to find out one day that we’re perhaps developing homosexuality? Certainly not, we’d cry for justice for us then. We very confidently criticize child labour and tell everyone ‘We are strictly against child labour’ but what happens when we come to buy crackers for Diwali or marriages? We forget that cause or issue very easily. Our agenda is to bring enlightenment about these issues, to finally break the ice and speak out “WAKE UP INDIA!”
